CAMELOT – Conference on Archaeology, the Medieval, and Experimental Learning of Tomorrow has almost arrived! This FREE, day-long public conference features papers, presentations, vendors, AND a full-scale Viking Ship, the Gyrfalcon.
In addition, The Wareham Forge, a traditional Norse forge, a bloomery iron furnace, will be operational on the St. Jerome University's campus for the duration of the conference. Artisan blacksmith Darrell Markewitz will deliver a formal presentation and be on-hand to answer questions.
 
The conference runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 16, at St. Jerome’s University in the University of Waterloo - SJ2 Academic Centre and Grounds - and features a day of excitement.
