Position Profile

The Residence Life Coordinator is a live-in position that has primary responsibility for the supervision of Residence Dons and Community Advisors. This is a pivotal role supporting the development of community in the St. Jerome’s University Residence. The Residence Life Coordinator contributes to activities and  programs for St. Jerome’s University affiliated students that complement the institutional objective to educate “the whole person,” and to ensure that the strategic and operational objectives of the department of Student Affairs is achieved.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a university graduate with 1 to 3 years of experience in residence programming. Previous live-in residence experience is an asset. They must have a strong understanding of the First Year University Experience, and student transition items. Diversity, and other training Assist, SafeTalk, and Mental Health First Aid strongly preferred. This position works closely with the Student Affairs team, and contributes to activities both in the residence and within the University.
