Part of living in a community is learning to watch out for one another. This workshop will equip you with simple and practical skills to recognize when you, a friend, or even a stranger might be in trouble (specifically in cases of sexual harassment or abuse) and act to keep yourself and others out of harm’s way. We know this can be a tough topic, but we also know that feeling prepared can make a big difference when we encounter tough situations in real life. Let’s be the kind of community that does the work to make our campus a safer space. This session is facilitated by the Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office at UW.
