Orientation Investiture Liturgy
A Time for New Beginnings. A Time for Celebration.

St. Jerome’s University welcomes all  first-year students into the St. Jerome’s University community with an Investiture Ceremony held as part of our Orientation Liturgy; this takes place the Sunday that concludes Orientation Week. At Investiture, students of St. Jerome’s University are officially welcomed as individuals and as a class. All first-year students that are academically registered and/or living in our residence are invited to attend this ceremony. Investiture is a formal ceremony that takes place within a Eucharistic Liturgy, whereby students, vested in the traditional academic robes, are presented with a unique St. Jerome’s University pin. This ceremony is a celebration of students’ new path on their life’s journey. It is an experience that will be framed by St. Jerome’s University Graduation Ceremony and Convocation at University of Waterloo. Together we embark upon an odyssey of learning, growth, and discovery.

Orientation and Investiture takes place at the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex.
