Subject: Presidential Search Enters Recruitment Phase
St. Jerome’s University is now entering the recruitment phase of the search for its next president.
Reporting to the University’s Board of Governors, the President and Vice Chancellor is the chief executive officer of St. Jerome’s University. The President and Vice Chancellor is responsible for the direction of the academic work and general administration of the University, the faculty, the staff, and the students in pursuit of the University’s objectives. The next President and Vice Chancellor will help to distinguish and promote St. Jerome’s University locally, nationally, and internationally as a pre-eminent Roman Catholic university rooted in the liberal arts and the principles of academic freedom. They will ensure that the University’s culture, services, and policies encourage critical thinking, and promote the practice of the gospel values of love, truth, justice, and encourage the holistic intellectual, spiritual, and social development of our students.
