The Reading Series presents Claire Tacon

The St. Jerome's University Reading Series invites you to its next event taking place on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. and featuring Claire Tacon. 

 

Claire Tacon is the author of In Search of the Perfect Singing Famingo (Wolsak & Wynn), which was the Hamilton Public Library's 2019 Hamilton Reads selection. Her first novel In the Field (Biblioasis), was the winner of the 2010 Metcalf-Rooke Award. Her short fiction has been shortlisted for the Bronwen Wallace Award, the CBC Literary Prize and has appeared in various journals and anthologies. In partnership with The New Quarterly, Tacon is also the host and producer of the Parallel Careers podcast. She has a Master of Fine Art in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia and has been a lecturer at St. Jerome's University since 2011.
