On Carrying a Scandal Biblically

The revelation of sexual scandals within the priesthood has left the Church deeply wounded, perhaps more severely than ever before. What is our call, biblically, in all of this? How do we carry this scandal spiritually and biblically? A columnist in Catholic newspapers on three continents, Fr. Ron Rolheiser is known for his biblically-grounded insights into the spirituality of everyday life. His books have made him a popular speaker and retreat leader in Canada, the United States, and Great Britain. As part of the Somerville Lecture sponsored by the Catholic Register, Fr. Rolheiser will deliver the same lecture at 7:30 pm on October 30th at the Newman Centre Chapel, University of Toronto, 89 St. George Street, Toronto.
