Hello and welcome (back) to the St. Jerome's University (SJU) Experience blog! It’s the start of a new year, and for many of you reading this, it might now be the year in which you will start University! This can be an exciting and challenging time in your life, filled with many difficult decisions, but don’t worry; this blog is here to help you make those difficult decisions and show you why St. Jerome’s University could be the right fit for you!
If you’ve fully decided that you’re going to come to SJU, if you’re considering coming to SJU and want to find out more about it, or if this is the first time you’ve ever even heard of SJU, this blog is for you! This blog is written by people who have been in your exact same position not that long ago, and who, because of their passion for this community, want to show you what’s so great about SJU!
So who am I? My name is Tyler Linwood, and I’m the current Recruitment & Outreach Associate at St. Jerome’s University. I’m in my Third Year of studies at the University of Waterloo, and am completing my second co-op term right now with SJU. I’m also a past resident and current Residence Don at SJU.

As part of my position, I’ll be updating this blog with new content every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so be sure to check back regularly! I’ll be talking about what life is like as a student at St. Jerome’s, why you should study Arts at St. Jerome's University, all the opportunities that exist for students here, and the community and environment that exists here that makes SJU such a unique university experience! Hopefully this blog will help you be able to imagine your own experiences that you might have here!
