Welcome to Ambassador Spotlight. Every Monday we'll be showing off three members of our Student Ambassador team. Should you choose to visit us, these friendly first and second-year students will be there to welcome you and take you on a personalized tour of St. Jerome's. Why did you choose SJU?

I could see myself living and thriving in this community before I applied

Having huge games of basketball in the gym

I am a basketball referee and have been since grade 7

Christmas cookies

Why did you choose SJU?

I chose SJU because from the moment I stepped foot on our campus I felt comfortable. I felt like I had found a place that I could belong. I knew it was the right place for me because after my first tour with SJ, my mom (who might I add was nervous about me moving away and growing up) turned to me and said "I can see you here, you need to be here" and I knew it was the perfect fit.

 

Something I can’t live without:

Comfy pyjamas

 

Favourite SJU memory:

My favourite SJ memory so far has probably been our fall formal. Give me an excuse to get dressed up and dance and I'm there. It was awesome to have a night out with my friends - all of who looked so good if I may add - and just party before exams hit.

Why did you choose SJU?

I chose to live at SJU because this community is extremely welcoming and inclusive. I knew that if I came to SJU I would have the opportunity to get involved in the community and develop my skills as a leader. I also loved the unlimited food plan!

 

Favourite SJU memory:

SJU Formal, Coffee Houses and Frost Week Activities such as tubing and the Frost Week dance!

 

Favourite animal:

Giraffes!

 

Something unique about me is:

I kissed a stingray while in the Cayman Islands!

 

Outside of the classroom, I like to:

Run, swim, snowboard, paddleboard, hike, adventure, travel, listen to music and spend time with friends and family!

 

Favourite guilty pleasure:

Discovering new music!

 

Something I can’t live without:

My sisters!
