Born and raised in Québec, I moved to Ontario in 1999 to undertake my MA at the University of Guelph, followed by my PhD at McMaster University. Since completing my PhD, I have held several visiting appointments, including assistant professor of English (on a limited-term appointment) at the University of Winnipeg and at Ryerson University, SSHRC postdoctoral fellow at the University of Alberta, Leverhulme visiting fellow at the University of Worcester (UK), and visiting scholar in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Waterloo. I have taught in several undergraduate programs at Wilfrid Laurier University since 2010 and in the graduate certificate program in publishing at Ryerson since 2015.
