Campus Ministry
Look inward. Reach outward.
Our unique avenues for developing the spiritual side of your holistic growth give “higher education” a whole new meaning! Start from whatever faith or non-faith background you bring with you, and look not only higher, but also wider and deeper. Your values. Others’ beliefs. How they affect your actions. Let your spirit soar!

A community of spiritual explorers.
You won’t be alone. Campus Ministry staff and students will keep you company and guide your search. So check out the ways to connect and seek answers together.

Learn. Think. Discuss.
Try a group retreat or an individual mentored one. Attend a lecture, or meditative yoga, or a contemplative evening. Join your friends at one of the many Campus Ministry hosted social events.

Reflect. Pray. Recharge.
For the quiet of solitary introspection or the comfort of group worship, our chapel is the place to visit. Come out to the weekly student liturgy – assist with the service, sing in the choir, or just soak up the solace. Looking for a quiet space to reflect? Visit the Fr. Bob Liddy Spirituality Centre.

Share. Inspire. Lead.
Contribute your talents in a leadership role and promote spiritual development at SJU. Explore your own spirituality and provide diverse faith-based programming and coordinate student liturgies as a member of the Student Campus Ministry Team (SCMT).

Commit. Act. Serve.
Apply your beliefs to social justice issues and then live them by volunteering. Spend time working with international or local outreach agencies, and then reflect on the real-life ramifications of acting on your values.
