University Catholic Community

Mission of U.C.C.

The University Catholic Community (U.C.C.) provides a presence within the University setting intended to enable students, faculty and staff, and the community at large to share their faith and to foster a lived commitment to their Roman Catholic Christian heritage.

To encourage students toward active participation, thereby training them for leadership, not only in their church but in society.

To be of service, spiritually, personally, or financially, to those in the greater community.

To model what a faith community can be through sacramental preparation and good liturgy.

How Can I get Involved in U.C.C.?

The University Catholic Community exists because everyone works together to make things happen. We have an official sign-up for committees and ministries in September and January. There are also many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year.

  • Music, Liturgical Dance
  • Art and Décor
  • Liturgy Committee
  • Sacristan
  • Lector
  • Mass Coordinator, Eucharistic Minister
  • Social Justice Committee
  • Sunday School
  • R.C.I.A. facilitator
  • Or just about any other area where you are gifted!
