Award description: 
The Mary and John Motz Scholarship is named in honour of Mary (nee Stoody) and John Motz, two Kitchener natives who gave much of themselves to both their community and church. Mary Motz was an active volunteer and John Motz was publisher of The Kitchener-Waterloo Record from 1936 to 1975. This scholarship is funded by the generosity of the Motz family. The award is presented annually to at least one upper-year St. Jerome’s University co-registered student, SJU resident, or student with a connection to the St. Jerome’s community. The recipient must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need.
