President's Message

	Since my arrival at St. Jerome's University I have found the rich culture and strong foundation upon which SJU has been built to be robust and intricately woven throughout the fabric of our community. The heart of the SJU community is a heart that is committed to engaged teaching and intellectual stimulation, strong student support, and interest in the larger global issues of justice, peace-making, and the living and celebration of life from within a Catholic worldview. SJU is a vibrant, faith-based community which wholeheartedly welcomes everyone, regardless of affiliation.
What impresses me about our University is our dedicated faculty, our committed and engaged staff, and the consistency with which we attract students who possess a strong willingness to make a significant contribution to our society as well as to the larger global community. Their continued contribution reflects their loyalty and passionate dedication towards the SJU community. At St. Jerome's you quickly develop a sense of belonging; we have a shared commitment to our values, to our various projects and, even more importantly, to one another. I am proud of our academic excellence, strong compassion and compelling support for our students. Our focus is to facilitate educational development and to not only strive for the highest standards of education, but to cultivate the capacity of the whole person.
