The primary mandate of Health Services is to provide on-site family physicians for all registered full and part-time, graduate and under-graduate students. The WALKSAFE Service is a complimentary service provided to the UW Community by the UW Police Service. Student Security Members will meet you at parking lots, bus stops, buildings, and residences; escort you for buses, cabs, or until your vehicle starts.
All requests will be accommodated by one male and one female member on foot.

The Safety Van is a service available to students, faculty and staff. It runs from the first day of registration to the last day of exams. It leaves regularly from the Student Life Centre at about 6:00 pm in the winter, at 9:00 pm in the summer and runs until 1:00am. Women have first priority for rides. Cards for a ride and schedule maps are available at the Student Life Centre Turnkey Desk, ext. 33867.
