The John A. Macdonald Vanstone Scholarship/Bursary was established by St. Jerome's retired Faculty member, Dr. Scott A. Vanstone, in honour of his grandfather John A. Macdonald Vanstone, who was named after the former Prime Minister of Canada, Sir John A. Macdonald. This award is available to students living at St. Jerome's University and who are registered in Mathematics and demonstrate academic achievement and financial need. As of September 2013 the Father David Mowat, C.R. Scholarship/Bursary has been rolled in to this award.
